Sylvia Starbird is a long-time resident of Southern California and enjoys sharing her travels with others. She writes about some of the lesser-known destinations in and around San Diego, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and other popular destinations. She has a degree in journalism from San Diego State University and is also a licensed real estate broker with over 20 years of experience. She enjoys horseback riding, skiing, hiking, bicycling, and kayaking. She and her husband, Dan take an annual roadtrip in their 1964 Corvette Stingray. Some of those journeys appear in her travel writing as well.
